Sailing on Ice

Frozen plains and penguins, Antartica seems to be one of the only places left which has not been changed by human interference. However one Google Earth user seems to suggest otherwise discovering a "400ft ice ship" lying 100 miles off the coast.

Just south of New Zealand, this find looks surprisingly familiar to a cruiseliner dotted with windows and carrying chimneys. The images were first shared in a video by YouTube user MrMBB333 who describes himself as an Earth Watchman.

"Over the last 10 years I have become very familiar with our planet, the mechanics of it and how it reacts to many different aspects of space weather and many other things as well."

He also explains another certain piece of ice which seems to indicate entry points, paths and suggests even vehicular presence.

"Looks like a random iceberg but one part looks like its built with purpose, looks like an entry way, and the symmetrical features look like it has been created,' he says, pointing to spots were he says there is an exact 90-degree angle."

He adds that "It doesn't look random but as if it had a purpose,"

Viewed by more than 840,000 people, as expected this did spark off a number of theories ranging from a relic from the past left by explorers or a secret escape vessel for the rich and elite in the case of a global disaster.

'I was told a couple of years ago that there are ships built underground somewhere on upper east coast (like the ones in the movie 2012) to save the rich and powerful when canary islands get hit with massive earthquake that will take out east coast,'

'Anartica is Nazi army base from Hitler days. Plaidiens. Helped him,'

Despite all these wild claims it seems that one thing is clear. That despite being explored for more than 80 years we seem to know very little about the continent itself. Many expeditions, including ones organised by Hitler have been sent towards the South Pole. Politicians, old astronauts, even religious leaders have been invited to Antarctica but what secrets does this frozen place hold?
